Taxi-Eye = Mandatory JRS
Transport Department of HKSAR Government mandates that all taxis have to install Journey Recording System (JRS in short or called「的士三寶」in Chinese) from 2026. Transport Department also mandates that the JRS must be supplied and installed by an authorized installer.
Taxi-Eye is an in-vehicle CCTV system that was developed according to the requirements of the JRS. Therefore, Taxi-Eye meets all the legal and technical requirements of Mandatory JRS.
