Taxi-Eye = Mandatory JRS
Transport Department of HKSAR Government mandates that all taxis have to install Journey Recording System (JRS in short or called「的士三寶」in Chinese) from 2026. Transport Department also mandates that the JRS must be supplied and installed by an authorized installer.

Transport Department Approval No.: TD-JRS-006 The premier "Taxi 3-in-1" (Taxi Three Treasures) system, Taxi-Eye (TD-JRS-006), has simultaneously passed official assessment. It fully complies with the standards for an approved Journey Recording System (JRS) as stipulated under the Road Traffic (Construction and Maintenance of Vehicles) (Amendment) Regulation 2025 (L.N. 163 of 2025, amending Cap. 374A).
